Time Recording: Frequent “Auto Backup” transfer errors
Option 1: Turn off battery optimization
If “Auto backup” with our Google Drive Plugin or Dropbox Plugin regularly runs into error notifications like “Network timeout” or “Unable to resolve host”,
then try adding the plugin app to the list of non-battery optimised apps.
Caution: the following screenshots have been pulled from a Google Pixel phone with Android 15;
the steps required may look completely different with other Android versions or phone manufacturers.
Option 2: Use “External storage”
If above steps do not help then try using “External storage” with Google Drive as target;
in this scenario, data transfer is executed by your system's file manager, making it less likely to run into background transfer limitations.
