Time Recording: CSV data import and export
The app allows data import and export of your punch data (i.e. all work units) using a CSV-formatted text file.
Use this:
• for initial data import from other sources.
• if you need to bulk update your data in external editors.
• if you want to extract all work unit data for external processing.
→ Hint: use “Export” to obtain a template file showing the required file format;
comments in the file show the list of columns.
→ Note: for data import, each work unit needs to match one line in the text file (i.e. similar to what's shown on the app's main screen), with columns “as-of date”, “check-in time”, “check-out time”, “work unit notes”, and more.
If your data source provides a different file format (e.g. one line per work day) then you'll need to reformat accordingly.
