Time Recording: Permissions
Overview
Run at startup
Required if you have the "Check-in reminder" enabled.
Also required if you have any of the daily or weekly "time reached" alarms active and reboot your phone while on-clock.
Full network access, View network connections
• «Free» version: Required to load Google AdMob advertisement
• «Free» and «Pro» version: lookup of address information when using the "Add current location address to notes" function.
Google Play license check
• «Pro» version only
• For validating the «Pro» license.
• If you use «Pro» on an offline device:
make sure you open the app once every 3 weeks while online for proper license re-validation;
the app will show an error screen (but keep all its data and settings) once license validity expires.
In-app purchases
• Free version: For unlocking the "calendar sync" feature and disabling advertisement.
• Pro version: For donations only (there is no app functionality that needs to be unlocked via purchase).
Control vibration
For cases where user has defined app alarm notifications (e.g. "time reached alarm" or similar) and the alarm is set up with "vibrate" option.
On-demand permissions
You'll get the following runtime permission prompts when using the according app functionality:
• Location (when using "address of current location" for the notes text)
• Calendar read or write access (with "calendar sync")
• Notifications (starting with Android 13), used for "time reached" alarms and similar.
