Time Recording: Template days

What are "Template days"

A "template day" is a pointer or reference to a specific workday, like those displayed on the Day / Week / Month views. Think of it as a named bookmark for a specific workday on your calendar.
Once such a template day is defined, you can copy over all its entries (that is, all time stamps, all notes and all "extras" like the "Value" fields) to the current workday with just a few clicks. I.e. this is a very fast and simple way to populate your current workday based on a given template.

Notes:
• As stated, template days show on the Day / Week / Month views exactly like regular workdays. If you use such a template day to populate your workdays, then later change the content of the template day, the populated workdays are *not* updated or overwritten. Think of it as a "one time copy" whenever you apply a template day.
• Accordingly, after applying a template day to the current workday, you can freely change the copied over entries; the original template day is unaffected by that.
• You can define as many template days as you want; each template day should point to a different calendar date. Example: if you have two "routines", one for "remote work at home" and one for "work at office", then define two template day entries.
• Having two template day entries point to the same calendar date shows a warning message, more details per below.

Warning «Another template is using the same workday»

As stated in the intro above, a template day is like a bookmark for a specific workday on your calendar. As such, having two template day entries point to the same calendar date doesn't make too much sense and is probably incorrect.
Reason: both templates would copy over the exact same entries when applying, and changing the timestamp and notes data on the underlying workday would impact both templates identically.
→ As a rule of thumb, a given calendar date should not be used with more than one template day; the "warning" symbol shown on the UI indicates those template days pointing to the same calendar date.
